LOCATION:
“Del Portico” vineyard and a careful selection
of other Travaglino’s vineyards

SOIL TYPE AND EXPOSURE:
Calcareous-clay soil on sandy marl.
Facing south-east at 250-300 m. above sea level

GRAPE VARIETY:
100% Pinot Noir

CLASSIFICATION:
DOCG

VINE TRAINING SYSTEM AND PLANTING DENSITY:
Guyot, 4.800 vines per hectare

MAXIMUM YIELD PER H ECTARE:
5.000 litres

GRAPE HARVEST:
Traditional hand-picking starting approximately during the second half of August

WINE MAKING:
White wine with a soft pressing and only 45% of yield in must.
Fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel tank (18°C)

BOTTLING:
During the following May, blending the best selection of Pinot Noir and reserves

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:
Pressure 5,5 bar; sugars 4 g/l; alcohol content 12,5% Vol.

AGING IN BOTTLE:
For at least 42 months

DESCRIPTION:
The Pinot Noir Traditional Method is produced thanks to a meticulous choice using reserve wines, conferring complexity and persistency to every single vintage.
Straw coloured with thin bubbles. Crusted bread and dried fruit make this sparkling wine very fresh and particularly salty

PAIRING:
To be served as aperitif and fine pairing for every dish
especially seafood and white meat

PACKAGING:
Champenoise dark green bottle in 6 bottles boxes.

SERVING TEMPERATURE:
6° - 8° C
